I am unable to come up with a catchy, creative title to this post.

Hello, friends! How are you? I am done writing about the saga of my feet, hold your applause please.

The past couple of weeks have been very exciting! I started "tutoring" this week at the school I did the internship in. So far, so good. It is nice to have two guaranteed days a week at the school I love. I'm sure Mike is a little happy that I am contributing a teeny, tiny bit to the household income. Please pray that this little gig will help me out come interview time!

I also started attending a Beth Moore Bible study this week over her A Heart Like His study. IT IS LIVE!! That's right! She is there, leading it, every week! WOW! I am so thrilled to be able to attend! Below are some key points from this week's study.

• I got a friendly reminder that you "cannot bull God". No part of our lives are hidden from Him! That is a frightening, yet freeing, reminder. It is so nice to know that He is not surprised at my horrible sins. When I stand at judgement time, God will not flinch when my "secret" sins are read. He already knows them! Then again, He ALREADY KNOWS THEM! Good try, Christie, hiding those evil thoughts! Good try keeping that attitude and pride issue away from others! God still sees it. Again, frightening, yet freeing.
• Beth gave us a nice little equation. Secret Shame + Talkative Personality= Excellent Liar. Amen. Enough said.
• She also said she has often asked if we can still be considered hypocrites if we act like the person we WISH we could be....how many of us have been there, done that??
• Love this: "When God finds a heart given over to Him, He forms from it a life with facets and features that normally would not fit." Isn't that great?

I am so glad that I went, and so happy that a sweet, new friend would be willing and able to go with me! (Thanks, Emily!) I also feel almost relieved that I am going! I feel like something has been missing not having a home church right now....or for awhile. I have been craving the sweet fellowship that only comes from being surrounded by a body of believers. During the worship time on Tuesday I looked around at the beautiful women with arms raised, heads bowed, and voices lifted to Him, and couldn't help but wonder if I caught a glimpse of what worship will be like in Heaven. Won't that be something?

Mike and I have been so busy lately with his school, work, and my uhhh, well really just Mike's stuff! I am looking into possible vacation spots for us to go to over Spring Break. We could really use a nice getaway. Napa Valley, perhaps?!

We ordered my Valentine's present this week, and I cannot wait to show it to y'all! I could share the website, but I really want to wait till I can show you my personalized product. It is super sweet and beautiful, and I cannot wait to see it in person.
