My Husband

Today is Mike's birthday! He is the big 28! He is handling quite nicely, even throwing around phrases like "I feel younger now then I did when I was 23". That makes one of us in this marriage.



Can I share something with you all?? I am not always a pleasant person to be around. Surprised? I know, but don't be. I am a very flawed individual. Flawed and stubborn....not a great combination. But you know what?? Mike is the most loving, patient, kind, giving, and selfless husband God could have ever given me. He doesn't respond to my flaws how I would if the shoe was on the other foot. He loves me through them...patiently trying to help me become better. How nice is that? What is so great is that he is exactly what I need. I need someone to keep me accountable. Don't we all? While I will never know why God has decided to bless me, I am so grateful.



Lord, I pray that I do not take for granted the grace you have shown me in providing a loving helpmate for me to live out my days on earth with. Thank you for once again providing for me when I am once again so undeserving. I pray in Your Son's Holy name, Amen.
