Oh Technology!

So I am not ready to post landscaping pictures as previously mentioned. I do want to tell you about my new love....my brand new Gateway laptop. I got it for school, but to be honest have done more playing than schooling. One of my brothers, Alex, is going to school tomorrow and he got a brand new laptop as well. Both of these laptops have webcam, and let me tell you, I love it!!! I just had a blast talking to my siblings via webcam. So thank you Alex and Allison for playing with me tonight....and Peter for stopping by to say hello! I love y'all!

So about Alex going away to college...first let me say it is a little heartbreaking to me that I won't see him every time I am in San Antonio. Second this signifies a huge change in my family. No longer are there "three little guys" at home anymore. It will never be the same and that makes me sad. While I thank God that He has allowed Alex to get into this great college and blessed him with an amazing scholarship, part of me wishes he was staying right where he is. Or even better, go back a year and be a senior one more time. What is even more sad to me is that this is the start of everything changing. Everything Alex does, Allison will do two years later, and then two years after her goes Peter. So in four years everyone will be out of the house and will only see each other, altogether, on major holidays. I realize this is part of life, but it is a sad part that I have been dreading.

Alex, I pray that God takes you by the hand and directs your every move....and that you seek that hand in all you do. I know that God has great things in store for you...just don't lose sight of Him! Keep Him and His Word first and foremost in your life! And know that your sister, and brother-in-law, love you very much!

Our First Blog!

Hi All,

So I was on facebook the other day and noticed that TONS of my old friends are blogging. Not one to be left out for long I decided to start one for us. Mike relunctantly agreed, after asking how much it cost, of course. So here it is! Welcome to the very first posting on the Bergeron blog!

This site will definitely be a work in progress as I have realized that we don't have many pictures of the two of us....sad. Probably my fault as I tend to be camera shy. There had to one area of my life that I would be shy in, right parents?

I wish I had something new and exciting to share about us right now, but we are pretty boring at the moment. Oh! We just celebrated our two year anniversary. God is so great!

We are landscaping this weekend, with the help of my father-in-law, and I will definitely share pictures of the event!
